Position: Director of Recreation
Duties: Plan, supervise and conduct recreational program, plus assist in the administration of facilities including golf courses, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, bathing beaches, launching ramp, skating rinks and athletic field.
Qualifications: Degree in Recreation or related field, experience desired but not required.
Salary: $8,400 - $11,00 commensurate with combined qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits— health insurance, pension plan, vacation, etc.

Position: Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation.
Location: Freeport, Illinois.
Salary: Open depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibility: To Assist the Director of Parks in the general operation of the Park District, to organize and be responsible for a lighted school program and summer playground program.
Benefits: Ill. Municipal Retirement Fund, Hospital Insurance, Vacation, and a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to assume the position of Director of Parks and Recreation upon the retirement of the present director.
Facilities: 609 acres of highly developed parks, including two 18-hole golf courses in a good growing community that has just finished a new master plan, and will add 500 or 600 acres to the park district in the near future.
Education and Experience: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Recreation and related fields, two years or more experience with public recreation or park department.
