COVER/The Illinois State Fair will be August 8 through August 17 at the Fairgrounds at the north edge of Springfield. A calendar of the main Stare Fair events is printed on the back cover of Illinois Issues. The drawing of the main gate of the Fair-grounds was done for Illinois Issues by William H. Crook, Jr., of Springfield.

ILLINOIS ISSUES is published by Sangamon State University. The publisher/editor serves as a faculty member of the university. He is selected by a board whose members are appointed by the presidents of Sangamon State University and the University of Illinois.
