whats up with STUDENTS

Congratulations to all new Student Branch officers and Campus Council Reps:

President-Elect, Tom Brimberry (ISU)
Vice-President, Craig Begert (EIU)
Treasurer, College Francis (Parkland)
Secretary, Sandra Weston, (WIU)
IAPD Rep., Greg Memken, (ISU)

At our last meeting an installation ceremony for these new officers also saw Dennis Hayes assume the position of President.

The out-going officers were recognized for their service with certificates of merit. Past-President John Bruns was awarded an engraved plaque by Dennis Hayes for three outstanding years of diligent service to the Student Branch as Parliamentarian, President-Elect and President.

At this same meeting, the Student Branch decided to take an active part in SPRA's Woodfield Mall Exhibit. Students will serve as leaders for activities planned by SPRA.

A task force of active Student Branch members and two faculty advisors has been formed to determine long-range goals for the Student Branch. The group has been meeting regularly and will report at the next Student Branch meeting, July 19, 1:30 p.m. at ISU in Normal.
