In March the general funds end-of-month balance was $133.66 million; the general funds average daily available balance was $100.77 million, and the combined funds tnd-of-month balance was $215.35 million. . . .The statewide seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in March was 9.8 percent. In the state's major cities, the final seasonally adjusted unemployment rates for January and the preliminary seasonally adjusted rates for February were: Bloomington-Normal, 7.4 percent in January, 7.9 percent in February; Champaign-Urbana-Rantoul, 6.7 percent, 6.6 percent; Chicago, 9.3 percent, 9.3 percent; Davenport-Rock Island-Moline (Illinois sector), 16.4 percent, 11.7 percent; Decatur, 12.8 percent, 12.8 percent; fankakee, 16.3 percent, 16.4 percent; Ptoria, 9.8 percent, 10.6 percent; Rockford, 11.9 percent, 14.8 percent; Springfield, 8.3 lercent, 7.8 percent; St. Louis (Illinois sec-or), 11.1 percent, 11.4 percent.
