Employees of the Lockport Township Park District contribute annually toward the community's Needy Baskets program.

Filled with turkey and other holiday trimmings, the baskets are delivered early on Christmas Eve day to families identified through the local school district. The food is purchased with park employee contributions and assembled at park district offices. A local bank also contributes funds tor the effort.
