Offers His "Heart"

Schaumburg Village Pres. Al Larson offers "Miss Illinois," Schaumburg resident Cynthia Hodgkins, his "heart" on behalf of his community to take with her when she vies for the "Miss America" crown in Atlantic City in September. The heart is actually a village promotional pin with the message, "My heart belongs to Schaumburg." Cynthia is a former "Miss Schaumburg" who captured the "Miss Illinois" title as "Miss Chicago." She and her family have lived in Schaumburg for more than 20 years.
