CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

The Village of Mahomet, Illinois is accepting applications for the newly created position of Chief Administrative Officer. The annual budget for the Village is 3.7 million dollars. The person employed will be responsible for the proper administration of all affairs of the Village pertaining to the operation and maintenance of the properties of the Village and of all departments of the Village. He should have knowledge and experience in personnel management and fiscal planning. He should also be prepared to make recommendations to the Board concerning Village issues.

The candidate should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and experience in municipal government. He should also have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to motivate and provide direction to all departments. Salary $25,000-$30,000 plus benefits.

ASSISTANT FINANCE DIRECTOR

The Village of Wilmette is currently taking applications for the position of Assistant Finance Director. This is a challenging position for an individual interested in working in the field of public finance.

The responsibilities include extensive involvement in the Village's financial reporting systems; responsibility for certain employee benefit programs; and general administrative duties for a staff of 12 employees. The Assistant Director of Finance would also be expected to act as Director in the Finance Director's absence. The starting salary range is $30,657-$33,607.
