Annual Report, Department of Energy and Natural Resources.

This column does not usually list annual reports, but this is something different: a video annual report. It covers topics such as the superconducting super collider, Illinois coal, water resources, plants and animals, recycling, alternative energy and energy conservation. Copies of the video will be loaned to interested groups; call 1-800-252-8955.

This study, which was done for the Illinois Film Office by Arthur D. Little, concludes that Illinois had been highly successful in attracting film production and that the office is one of the best in the nation at providing the basic services needed by film producers. The study focuses on the methods used by others to attract film production, how this state can accommodate an increase in production and on developing a program to attract additional production.
