Illinois Municipal Treasurers
Association New Officers

The Illinois Municipal Treasurers Association elected next years Officers at their annual meeting in Chicago. It was held during the Illinois Municipal League Conference. Following the resignation of the previously elected 1st Vice President Fred Torricelli of Taylorville, a realignment of the following Officers was made at the December 4, Board Meeting in Springfield.

The IMTA changed their annual meeting to coincide with the June Seminar. It will be held in Springfield in 1988. Jim McGill will Chair the June Seminar Committee, which includes: Mary Ulrich, Bob Gordon and Pat Wright. Bob Gordon will Chair the Legislative Committee. Dennis Thiel accepted the Membership Committee, and will continue as Parliamentarian/Historian. The new publicity chairperson is Charlene Drake. Kathleen Green will Chair the Regionalization Committee. Barbara Weyrauch will continue to handle the Certification Committee. Lindel Barker will Chair the Nominating Committee.

More than 200 towns are represented in the Illinois Municipal Treasurers Association. It is dedicated to promote the general and professional interests of Municipal Treasurers and Finance Officers.

Any Municipal Treasurer or Finance Officer may belong to the IMTA by contacting any of the above Officers. They may also send a $20 check payable to the IMTA c/o Membership Chairman Dennis Thiel, 123 South Central Avenue, Paris, Illinois 61944. •

Verna Clayton, Village President, Buffalo Grove, member of IML Board of Directors, served on the Credentials Committee at the business meeting of the NLC Conference, Las Vegas.
