IPR Conference draws record crowd

A record number of delegates, speakers, guests and exhibitors participated in the 1987 Illinois Park and Recreation Conference held last November at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont.

They were offered eight pre-conference workshops, 85 educational sessions, seven conference workshops, seven potpourri sessions and 143 exhibits. In addition, participants were treated to a Beach Party, which replaced the traditional Saturday evening banquet.

Illinois Periodicals Online (IPO) is a digital imaging project at the Northern Illinois University Libraries funded by the Illinois State Library
