UTILITIES SUPERINTENDENT

The City of Sheboygan Falls, WI, is recruting for a utilities Superintendent. The Superintendent reports to the Utilities Committee and manages the water and electric operations, business administration, and personnel of the utility which serves 3,000 industrial and residential customers. This is a responsible, top management level position. A BA Degree in Business/Public Administration and 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in managing utility/public works operations are required. A civil or mechanical engineering degree is desirable. Competetive salary and benefit package. 1989 salary range: $40,000-$50,000. Salary range is under review.

CHIEF OF POLICE

The Village of Lindenhurst, Illinois, a progressive and growing northeast Lake County community of 8,000, is seeking an experienced Police Manager for the highly visible and responsible position of Chief of Police. The Police Department has a budget of $550,000 and ten (10) full-time sworn officers. Responsibilities include: management of patrol services, police records, budgeting, community relations, crime prevention, training and traffic enforcement functions. UTILITIES OPERATOR

The Village of Cobden, Illinois, population 1,200 is accepting applications for the position of Water and Sewer Plant Operator. The water plant duties will require a minimum of a Class B certification and the sewer plant duties will require a minimum of a Class 2 certification. The successful candidate should either possess these licenses or have the ability to obtain them within three years from the date of hire. Duties will include operation and maintenance of the Village gas system along with all of the Village's water and sewer systems. Starting salary is dependent upon qualifications.

SUPERINTENDENT OF SANITATION
