The Illinois Municipal League was saddened to learn of the death of the former Mayor of Lansing, Jack O. McNary.

Linda M. Taets, CMC/AAE, Clerk/Treasurer of the Village of Tampico, Illinois, has been accepted as a member in the IIMC Academy for Advanced Education of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. The Academy is the professional body of municipal clerks who have continued their high level of educational achievement beyond the attainment of the prestigious Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) Award. •
