WASTEWATER TREATMENT SUPERINTENDENT

The City of Woodstock (pop. 13,123) located approximately 45 miles northwest of Chicago is seeking a responsible professional for the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent. This position will assist the Director of Public Works with the management of the City's two wastewater treatment plants and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facilities. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience with the operation of a treatment plant and a current Illinois Class 1 license, or the ability to obtain upon hiring. The current salary range is $11.63/hr. to $16.31/hr. with a complete benefit package provided by the City.

PLANNING/URBAN DESIGN

The Village of Lincolnshire is accepting applications from candidates with significant skills in public administration, planning and urban design. This person reports to the Director of the Department of Community Development who has responsibility for all planning, building and zoning functions in the Village. This person works closely with builders, developers, consultants and Village staff in the plan development, construction and inspection phases of various public and private development projects. Items of responsibility include oversight of architectural, site development and landscape design elements as well as administration of plan review, permitting and building inspection services. This person also prepares planning and redevelopment studies and presents reports to the Village Board of Trustees, other Boards and Commissions and staff, enforces Village Code provisions and suggests and implements amendments as appropriate. Position title is Urban Design Intern. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in public administration, architecture, landscape architecture, or planning, with Master's degree preferred and one to three years experience in planning, building and zoning. Starting salary range is $24,651 to $28,719 plus benefits.

VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR
Bourbonnais, Illinois

The Village of Bourbonnais, a full-service unit of local government, is currently accepting applications for the position of Village Administrator. The Village operates under a President and Board of Trustees form of government. Thirty-three full-time employees; annual operating budget of $2.3 million. The office of Administrator was created under local law. ICMA recognition was granted in 1984. Candidates should present evidence of the following minimum qualifications: (a) Bachelor's degree in public administration, management, urban planning, or a closely-related discipline; (b) five years of progressively-responsible local government experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; (c) demonstrated experience and knowledge of municipal finance, public personnel management, land use planning and zoning; and, (d) excellent oral and written communication skills. In addition to the above-stated minimum qualifications, preference will be afforded to applicants who demonstrate a proven ability to creatively solve problems in a team-management environment. STREET SUPERINTENDENT

The City of Wheaton, Illinois, (50,000 population) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Street Superintendent. Position reports to Public Works Director and is responsible for all aspects of street maintenance including snow control, electrical, parks and public grounds. Position calls for significant supervisory responsibilities. Street Division consists of 23 full-time employees supplemented by a number of part-time personnel in summer months. Division's supervisory staff consists of four foreman. Successful candidate will possess at least two years of related college experience (Bachelor's Degree preferred), excellent interpersonal skills, experience in evaluation and training of subordinates, solid background in street maintenance and at least four years of supervisory experience.

VILLAGE OF VILLA PARK DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

The Village of Villa Park (Pop. 23,185) is seeking an experienced manager to design, plan and administer the Village's Economic Development/Redevelopment Plan and related programs.
