Mrs. Julienne Crowley, CMC/AAE, City Clerk/Treasurer of the City of Oregon, Illinois, has been accepted into the CONTINUED MEMBERSHIP of the IIMC Academy for Advanced Education . . .

Governor James R. Thompson has appointed Steven D. McClure to replace Jay Hedges as Director of the State Dept. of Commerce and Community Affairs, effective immediately. Hedges resigned a few months ago to take a job in public relations.

McClure has been Acting Director of DCCA since last month, and was assistant director of the agency since December, 1987. He has been with DCCA since 1983 . . .

Carl H. Zwermann, Jr., 81, Robinson, died at his residence following an apparent stroke.

He was the mayor of Robinson for three consecutive terms from 1960-1973. He served 12 years on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Municipal League, during which he served one year as president. •
