FIRE EQUIPMENT FOR SALE

Fayetteville Fire Department is receiving bids for the sale of a 1939 Dodge Pumper Fire Truck with Mid-ship pump, 500 G.P.M. The body is manufactured by Central. This unit has 6,359 miles. 1965 Ford 850 Cab-over Pumper Fire Truck. This unit is red in color, has a 477 engine, a wheel base of 153 inches and maximum G.V.W. 27,000. This unit has a 500 C.P.M. Barton American Front Mount Fire Pump with a 1000 gallon tank. This truck has 7,692 miles. The truck also sells with three 10 ft. sections of 4 inch hard suction hose, and two 10 ft. sections of 2 inch hard suction hose. A 100 G.P.M. 2 inch Portable Pump with strainers is included.

POLICE CHIEF

The Village of Winfield, located in suburban DuPage County, with a population of nearly 7,000, is seeking a progressive and innovative person to serve as Chief of its Police department. The department consists of 12 officers and one civilian and operates on a budget of $670,000. The Chief is appointed by and reports directly to the Village Manager. Successful candidates should have a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible police experience in a municipal police department, including at least three years in a supervisory or command position. A Bachelors Degree in police administration or related field is preferred.
