Harvey E. Hoyt, CMC/AAE, former Village Clerk of Elburn, died on December 20, 1989 at the age of 82, at Jennings Terrace in Aurora, where he had been a patient in recent months.

Harvey had served as elected Village Clerk of Elburn for 40 years, retiring in September, 1988. He was an active member of the Municipal Clerks of Illinois, the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, and the Northwestern Illinois Clerks Association.

He will be remembered by his many friends and associates as a regular attendee at the annual IML Conference.

Mr. Rick Goeckner, CMC/AAE, City Clerk of the City of Effingham, Illinois, has been accepted as a member in the IIMC Academy for Advanced Education of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. The Academy is the professional body of municipal clerks who have continued their high level of educational achievement beyond the attainment of the prestigious Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) Award . . .

V. Jean Wilkerson, Village Clerk, Village of Shiloh, Illinois, has been awarded the designation of "Certified Municipal Clerk" (CMC) from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) for achieving its high educational, experience, and service requirements . . .

Mrs. Ellen B. Mooney, CMC/AAE, Village Clerk of the Village of Hinsdale, Illinois, has been accepted into the CONTINUED MEMBERSHIP of the IIMC Academy for Advanced Education . . .

Elvira L. Johnson, Village Clerk/Collector, Village of Bensenville, Illinois, has been awarded the designation of "Certified Municipal Clerk" (CMC) from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) for achieving its high educational, experience, and service requirements. •
