DESK . . .

With regrets:
Jack Pahl, former Village President of Elk Grove Village, member of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Municipal League and President of the Northwest Conference passed away March 22nd.

With further regrets we were saddened to learn of the death of Helen Foreman, former Mayor of Jacksonville and a member of the Illinois Municipal League Board of Directors.

We were also saddened by the death of W.W. (Smokey) Downey on March 22nd. "Smokey" did public relations work for the Illinois Municipal League for many years. •
