DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
The Village of Bourbonnais is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Director of Public Works. Salary range of $30,000.00 to $35,000.00 with excellent fringe benefits. POLICE CHIEF
The City of Marquette Heights (Pop. 3077) a small suburban municipality located 7 miles southeast of Peoria is recruiting for the position of Police Chief. Appointed by the Mayor with approval of the City Council. This position includes patroling a duty shift, as well as directing the activities of a department composed of two additional full-time officers and seven part-time officers. Successful candidate must have demonstrated communication, management and supervisory skills in law enforcement with a thorough knowledge of principles and practices of police administration. Minimum of 2 to 3 years responsible supervisory experience with a law enforcement agency. Graduation from an accredited high school, with formal training in modern police administration or equivalent education required. Must be certifiable with Illinois Police Training Board. Associates degree in police science, public administration or equivalent highly desired. Residency required within one year, salary open, excellent fringe benefits.

FIRE CHIEF
Joliet, Illinois is currently seeking a Fire Chief for our 121 member department. The City of Joliet has a population of approximately 80,000; and operates a full service Fire Department, which includes Suppression, Inspection, Prevention and Paramedic functions. CHIEF OF POLICE
The Village of Glen Ellyn is located in the Chicago Metropolitan area, 22 miles west of the city, in the center of DuPage County. Glen Ellyn is a stable, family-oriented community, population 25,000, with active community organizations and a volunteer spirit. The police department is composed of 33 sworn police officers, 15 civilian personnel, and has an active reserve unit. Communications are provided by a central dispatch agency. The police department has a budget of approxmately $2.6 million. The current police chief is retiring after 30 years of service. The Village of Glen Ellyn is seeking an individual to manage, direct, plan and oversee the activities and operations of the Glen Ellyn Police Department as Chief of Police. Candidates must possess a bachelors degree with major course work in police science, criminal justice, public or business administration, and have a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in law enforcement including three years in an administrative capacity. Salary $50,000-$55,000 dependent on qualifications.

BUILDING INSPECTOR
The Village of Grayslake, Illinois (Population 7,388), is seeking applicants for the position of Building Inspector. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspections relating to enforcement of building, -zoning, and municipal code regulations.
