FINANCE DIRECTOR

PLANNER
The Village of Woodridge (population 26,500), a rapidly growing municipality located in south central DuPage County, Illinois has an opening for an experienced, highly motivated planner who is seeking a fast-paced environment and opportunities to work on a wide range of planning and economic development related tasks. Position reports to the department manager. Duties include review of rezoning and land development proposals, coordination of the interdepartmental development review process, comprehensive planning studies, processing annexation petitions, and related special projects. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in urban planning, community development, public administration or related field. A Master's degree is preferred. BUILDING COMMISSIONER
The Village of Algonquin, Illinois (population 11,663) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Building Commissioner. This department head position, under the direction of the Village Administrator, is responsible for supervising and enforcing Municipal Building Codes relating to Planning, Building and Zoning and issuance of building permits, plan review, and field inspections. This position deals with the public on a daily basis to interpret technical codes and provide guidance regarding various regulatory codes. The Building Commissioner acts as liaison to the Zoning Board of Appeals. Qualifications include a minimum of three years experience in building and zoning, thorough knowledge of approved methods and material used in construction and background in the area of zoning, planning, code enforcement, engineering and/or architecture, knowledge of BOCA, National Electric Codes, State Plumbing Codes and State Handicapped Codes. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Salary range is $32,974 to $44,612.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Village of Schaumburg, IL (Population 68,000) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant. Schaumburg, located 25 miles Northwest of Chicago, is the 2nd largest retail center in Illinois.
