DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

DuPage Public Safety Communications (DU-COMM) is seeking a person who has a proven track record in combined public safety dispatch operations to serve as its new Director of Communications. This position requires an individual with strong technical, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills. DU-COMM is located in DuPage County, Illinois, approximately 30 miles west of downtown Chicago. DU-COMM handles over 1,000 calls for service each day through its E-911 system and services 27 municipal police and fire departments which serve an estimated total population of 475,000. The salary range for this position is in the mid-50s, depending upon qualifications.
