Joseph S. Trainer

FORMER BOARD MEMBER RETIRES
AFTER 26 YEARS

Joseph S. Trainer, member of the IML Board of Directors from 1971-1981, retired from his aldermanic seat in the City of Pontiac effective January 1, 1992. Joe's resignation was necessitated from complications concerning his pension upon his retirement from employment with the State of Illinois.

Joe was first elected to the City Council in 1963, and was elected to the first of 4 terms as mayor in 1965, serving until 1981. In 1981, Joe again was elected to a City Council seat, which he held until retirement this year.

To honor Joe's 26 years of service, the City of Pontiac will host a reception on February 24th from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at City Hall, 115 W. Howard Street.

Notes or letters to Joe, to be assembled into a book to be presented to him, can be sent to:

Mayor Mike Ingles
City Hall
115 W. Howard Street
Pontiac, IL 61764

It is with regret to learn of the death of Paul Neal, former Mayor of Libertyville. Mayor Neal served on the Board of Directors — 1978-80.
