CHIEF OF POLICE

The Village of Mundelein, Illinois (21,215), a full service community located 35 miles northwest of Chicago, is seeking an experienced police commander/administrator to head department of 41 (31 sworn and 10 civilian personnel) with budget of over $2.2 million. The Chief of Police is appointed by the Village President with consent of the Board of Trustees and reports to the Village Administrator. Salary range: $47,759 to $68,022. Bachelor's degree in a police-related field or public administration preferred; at least ten (10) years of experience in law enforcement with progressively greater levels of responsibility, with at least five (5) years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a police department of a comparable (or larger) size. The Trustees of the Raymond Community Fire Protection District, Raymond, IL 62560 is seeking sealed bids for the sale of the following apparatus: One 1954 International R-180 series fire truck with a 282 C.I. Black Diamond 6 cylinder engine. This pumper is equipped with a 250 G.P.M. pump, 600 gallon tank, 2 hose reels and a 24 ft. ladder. This truck has 7979 miles on it. TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR

The Village of Princeville, Illinois (Population 1,421) is accepting applications for the position of full time Public Water Supply and Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator. VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR

The Village of Lincolnwood, Illinois (11,365), located in north suburban Cook County, is accepting resumes for the position of Village Administrator. WATER SUPERINTENDENT

The City of Collinsville, Illinois, is seeking applicants for the position of Superintendent of Public Water Supply. The position reports to the Director of Public Works and is responsible for the supervision and direction of the daily operations of a 4.5 mgd water treatment plant and water distribution system serving 9200+ accounts. Present staff comprised of 12 operators and line maintenance workers with an annual operating budget of $1.25 million. Requires a degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering, or 2-year certification in construction management, and a minimum of 5 years experience in water line maintenance, or a minimum of 10 years experience in water line maintenance with at least 2 years in a foreman's or superintendent's position. POLICE CHIEF

The City of Richmond Heights, Missouri (population 10,448), located in St. Louis County immediately west of the City of St. Louis and home of the newly expanded St. Louis Galleria super regional mall, is seeking applications for the position of Police Chief. The present Chief is retiring after 32 years of distinguished service to the City. The Police Department has a commissioned force of 30 officers, five (5) civilian employees (3 full-time), and 11 school crossing guards. Starting salary range is $46,964 to $51,660, depending on qualifications.
