SUPERVISOR — UTILITY FOREMAN

Orland Park is accepting applications for an individual seeking a position as a team member with the Public Services Department for the position of Utilities Foreman. The preferred candidate will work closely with another foreman and superintendent to establish operational standards and maintenance objectives for the utility branch. Further responsibilities include planning, directing and supervising other team members to complete objectives, and fulfill standards for the operation and maintenance of the municipal portable water and waste water systems. Candidate will possess the knowledge, skill, and experience in utility system operations and have the effective supervisory skills needed to accomplish all aspects of system operation and maintenance activities by working with employee teams and individuals. Good communication skills and assertiveness are key qualities. CDL and Class "C" IEPA water license must be obtained within six (6) months of hire. Applicants should have at least five (5) years experience with a utility servicing at least 10,000 customers including three (3) years of supervisory experience. Ability to use a PC to help schedule and manage work routines is desirable. The successful candidate will be chosen based on previous experience, personal interview, and written testing and examinations. Current salary range: $31,853-$41,045. Starting salary: Commensurate with qualifications. Near mid-point of salary range.

SUPERINTENDENT OF MAPS

The City of Chicago, Department of Planning and Development is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Superintendent of Maps. Position is responsible for administration, management, and supervision of Maps and Plats/Cartography Division. TOWN MANAGER

The Town of Fortville, Indiana (2,690), located in northwest Hancock County is accepting resumes for the position of Town Manager. The town has 15 full-time employees, 7 part-time/seasonal employees and a 25 member volunteer fire department. The town manager is the chief administrative officer of the town and reports directly to a five (5) member Town Council.
