SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

The Village of Montgomery (5,000 residents, 17,000 served by water) seeks Superintendent of Public Works. Salary range to $49,530 DOQ + benefits. $2.3M department budget, non-unionized department consisting of 7 full time positions. Directs the functions of a multifaceted department including water and street operations in a rapidly growing area just south of Aurora. Require 3 years supervisory experience. Successful candidate will be required to obtain a Class "A" IEPA water operators license within two years of being hired. A current IEPA water license is desired but not required. Responsible for the operation of 5.25 mgd capacity lime softening water treatment plant, 35 miles of streets and all departmental operations.

DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS

The Village of Hartford seeks individual to fill position of Director of Public Works. Position directs, plans and supervises all public works functions and prepares and monitors the department's budget. Prefer a degree in civil engineering and management. Requires individual to be on call 24 hours a day for snow removal and "emergency situations." This is a "hands on" position requiring administrative duties. FIRE CHIEF

The City of Edwardsville (population 18,350) seeks applications/resumes for the position of Fire Chief to manage a combination Fire Department with 20 career and 30 volunteer firefighters. Edwardsville is located 20 miles east of St. Louis, MO and is the home of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and the county seat of Madison County. The Fire Chief position is appointed by the Mayor with advice and consent of City Council. Fire Chief is responsible for directing and administering both Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Ambulance Service for Edwardsville and surrounding communities. CITY ENGINEER

The City of Geneva (population 18,000) located approximately 40 miles west of Chicago in the beautiful Fox River Valley, is seeking an experienced qualified professional to fill the position of City Engineer. The City Engineer is a senior staff position that is appointed by the Mayor and City Council and reports to the Director of Public Works. DIRECTOR OF PLANNING/ COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP MANAGER

The Village of Schaumburg seeks qualified candidates for the position of Director of Planning/Community Development Group Manager. Position has administrative responsibilities for the Public Works Department, Engineering Department, Building Department and the Code Enforcement Division and direct responsibilities for the Planning Department. BUILDING INSPECTOR/ CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

The Village of West Dundee (population 4,700), is accepting applicants for the position of Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer. Position is responsible for conducting inspections for both new and existing construction, to insure compliance with all appropriate municipal and national codes, review plans, specifications and building permit applications and provides technical assistance on such construction and repairs. The Building Department responsibilities for West Dundee reside within the Fire and Building Department and this position reports directly to the Fire Chief of West Dundee.
