Golf season is here! In his edition of Illinois Parks & Recreation's annual listing of park district and forest preserve golf courses and learning centers, you'll find 132 of the finest public golf facilities in the state.
Many take pride in their "country club" conditions and amenities while maintaining the public course "best values". Others offer excellent facilities for the new golfer with practice greens, short courses, state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor driving ranges, and excellent PGA instructors.
