TWO NEW MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS

Two Cook County villages dedicated new municipal buildings on Saturday, February 22nd-NORRIDGE that morning and EVERGREEN PARK in the afternoon

The NORRIDGE Village Hall was built largely through the generosity of Joseph M. Brickman, the subdivider-builder of the Village. The furnishings were by courtesy of the NORRIDGE Shopping Center. The building contains municipal offices, police and fire departments.

The EVERGREEN PARK Municipal Building was financed by a $275,000 bond issue and furnishings and equipment brought the total cost to $350,000. The amount, in excess of the bond issue, came from current revenue and the principal and interest on the bond issue will be paid from sales tax revenue. The building houses municipal offices, police and fire departments.

BUILDER HONORED

Highlight of the dedication ceremonies of the NORRIDGE Village Hall was the presentation of a Scroll of Appreciation to builder Joseph M. Brickman (center) by Village President Joseph Sieb (left). Among the honored guests was A. L. Sargent, Executive Director of the Illinois Municipal League.
