MAYOR SABONJIAN PRESENTS PLAQUE TO JACK BENNY

Many Illinois municipal officials had the opportunity of seeing one of their brother-Mayors on TV recently. Mayor Robert Sabonjian represented Benny's hometown of WAUKEGAN at the recent birthday party of the comedian, which was televised from Hollywood, California. The Mayor is pictured presenting a plaque to Benny at the recent Freedom from Fear Musical Festival in Chicago, on January 12th, 1958.
