Car, Champaign Police Department (Photo)

The Champaign Police Department is experimenting with a small foreign built car, to replace the three-wheel motorcycles now in use, for traffic enforcement. The car is a right-hand drive Volkswagen, permitting the officer to mark the tires on cars while driving with traffic. It is believed the car cost will save money on original purchase and trade-ins.
