J. Russell Christianson, League's New President

The 45th Annual Conference of the League, held in Springfield, November 9th, 10th and 11th, elected J. Russell Christianson, Village President of Oak Park, to be its President for the next year. John Noel, Village President of Mundelein, was elected First Vice-President, and William Winterhoff, Thornton Township Supervisor, Lansing, was elected Sergeant-at-Arms for the twenty-sixth time.

The Conference broke all attendance records, drawing the largest group of municipal officials ever assembled in Illinois.

The Conference elected the following officials as Vice-Presidents:
