James A. Bagley

James A. Bagley, assistant chief engineer of the Chicago Park District, died August 25 at his North Side home. He was 61.

A 36-year employee of the park district, Mr. Bagley also was president of the Park Employees Pension Fund.

He served with the Marine Corps in World War II and was wounded in battle twice.

Services were held August 29 at the chapel, 5303 N. Western Ave.

Mr. Bagley is survived by his wife, Corinne; three daughters, Lynn Christensen, Eileen Shaffer and Phyllis; four sons, Thomas, Robert, Charles and James; and four grandchildren.
