22 Crystal Lake (McHenry) — Chili Open Golf Classic on frozen lake surface. Open to 432 golfers on two separate 9-hole courses.
24 Chicago (Cook) — Currier and Ives Show, Chicago Public Library.
1/31, 2/1-2 Galena (Jo Daviess) — 3rd Annual Ilinois Special Winter Olympic Games Cross country and downhill skiing and ice skating.

February

11-12 Caledonia (Winnebago) — Rock Cut Winter Carnival, Rock Cut State Park. Skating, sledding, cross country skiing, sleigh rides, dog sled races, ice and snow sculpture.
2-18, 3-11 Springfield (Sangamon) — Maple Syrup Time, Lincoln Memorial Gardens.
18-19 Glencoe (Cook) — Orchid Show, Chicago Botanic Garden Education Center. Displays by commerical and amateur growers. Competition in 100 categories.
24-26 Belleville (St. Clair) — Recreational Show, Belleclaire Hall. Display of RV's and camping equipment.

January 23, 24, 25 — IPRA Professional Development School, Starved Rock Lodge, Starved Rock State Park, Utica

January 25 — IPRA Night with DePaul Blue Demons.

February 25 — IPRA Day with the Chicago Sting.

March 3 — IPRA Night with the Chicago Bulls.

March 3 and June 9 — IAPD Parliamentary Procedures Seminars, Hyatt Regency Schaumburg.

March 14 — IPRA Day at the Ice Capades.

April 6 — IPRA Day at the Rodeo.

April 17 and 18 (or April 24 and25) — IAPD Legislative Conference at Springfield Hilton Hotel and reception at Sangamo Club (specific date will depend on legislature's schedule).

April 8, 9, 10 — IPRA Mid-Year Forum, Pheasant Run Resort, St. Charles.

May 5 or 12 — IAPD Eighteenth Annual Commissioner/Board Members Seminar.

August 3 — Sixth Annual Joint Legislators/Commissioners Golf Outing.

October 10 — IAPD Fourth Annual Legal Symposium.

November 15-18 — Joint Annual Conference, Hyatt Regency O'Hare, Rosemont.
