ASSISTANT CITY ENGINEER City Engineer
This is an administrative position that requires a thorough knowledge of municipal engineering. DIRECTOR OF SAFETY & RISK MANAGEMENT
The City of Evanston seeks qualified applicants for the position of Director of Safety and Risk Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for administration of the City's employee safety program and the self-insured, self-administered risk management program, including general liability/auto and workers' compensation.

This is an administrative position involving the supervision of three full-time employees and the management of claims-related litigation assigned to outside counsel. Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

The Village of Lincolnwood, Illinois is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Building Commissioner/Inspector. DUTIES: The Building Commissioner/Inspector manages the Building Department (two part-time inspectors and one clerical staff). Codes enforced by the Department are the complete BOCA package, the Chicago Building Code and the Chicago Electrical Code.

QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field is preferred but not essential. (Certification as a professional code administrator or a certified building official must be completed within the first six months of employment). Registration as a professional engineer or architect is desirable. The successful candidate will have strong managerial and supervisory skills and will be expected to communicate well at all levels. Ability to work in a team approach toward problem solving is essential. Strong technical code experience is required.
