HONORED BY INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION

Karen Pedersen, City Clerk, City of Prospect Heights, Illinois, has been awarded the designation of "Certified Municipal Clerk" (CMC) from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) for achieving its high educational, experience, and service requirements.

Mrs. Pedersen has been City Clerk of Prospect Heights, Illinois, since 1983. She began her career with the city in 1976.

She completed the Municipal Clerks Institute, offered by the University of Illinois (1987), and Northern Illinois University (1988-89). •
