	EDITOR'S DESK . . .

Mayor Jeffrey T. Markland, Urbana; Alderman Beth Davis, Evanston; and Thomas G. Fitzsimmons, Executive Director of the Illinois Municipal League were elected to the Board of Directors of the National League of Cities at the 67th Annual Congress of Cities recently held in Houston, Texas.

The above were elected to serve for a two year term.

The ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL REVIEW continues to be an open forum of expression for municipalities. Articles appearing in the Review do not necessarily express the views of the League or its staff but those of the various authors.
