DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS

The City of Collinsville, Illinois (population 22,500) ten miles east of St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a Director of Public Works. This position is responsible for the general supervision and administrative direction of the divisions of water, sewer, streets, equipment and facilities, building and zoning, and garbage service. This position is responsible for the City's engineering services, and/or serves as primary contact for outside engineering firms that may be hired by the City. The Collinsville Public Works Dept. has 40 employees and an operating budget of $4.7 million. This position requires 5 years progressively responsible managerial/administrative experience, an in-depth working knowledge of the various operations of a public works department, and excellent interpersonal skills. FIRE CHIEF

The Village of Bolingbrook, Illinois is a rapidly growing community in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. The fire department is a combined career and paid-on-call organization providing fire and ambulance protection to a population of more than 44,000. The department consists of 54 career personnel and 30 paid-on-call. The chief will supervise fire suppression, fire prevention, code enforcement, arson investigation and emergency medical services. Qualifications: A minimum of five years of progressive mid-to-upper level supervisory and administrative experience in a full service fire department is required. Prefer experience of at least a Chief level officer in a jurisdiction of at least 35,000. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and background in all areas of the fire service, including administration, emergency preparedness and code enforcement. In addition, candidates must exhibit outstanding communication skills, leadership and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with volunteers and members of the community. WANTED: USED TURN OUT GEAR

The Meramec Ambulance District, a public ambulance agency located twenty minutes west of St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking used fire service turn out gear for its ambulance crews to use when dispatched to motor vehicle accidents. WATER/SEWER OPERATOR

The Village of Pierron, Illinois is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Water/Sewer Operator. CHIEF OF POLICE

CHIEF OF POLICE

CHIEF OF POLICE

The Village of Deerfield, Illinois (population 17,400), located 25 miles north of Chicago, is seeking a Chief of Police for its 49 member department (38 sworn). Graduation from the FBI National Academy, Northwestern University Command School, or comparable institution is preferred. DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS

The City of Batavia (population 19,000), a suburb located 35 miles west of Chicago, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Director of Public Works.
