Console contains one Master Control Panel and two Channel Control Modules. The City of Evanston, Illinois, is offering for sale communications equipment which is no longer needed as a result of our recent up-grade to an Enhanced 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone system. DICTAPHONE RECORDER: Dictaphone voice recorder. Model 5500, 20 channel, 101/2" reel to reel, 24 hour recording system, that has two record decks. Included with the recorder are approximately 30 tapes. Unit is approximately 6 years old and in excellent condition. Minimum asking bid is $3,000. ModUcom COMMUNICATIONS CONSOLE: Modular (3) operator position communications console. The consule is capable of (7) separate channels per position. Each position is button driven, capable of half-duplex (talk or receive) operation of (8) independent channels. Each position has (2) speakers, (1) for audio from the selected channel and (1) speaker for all other audio channels. Each channel has individual muting capability and there is the capability to mute the entire console. There are two volume controls per channel. Included in each operator position is a Zetron CE- 1000R encoder capable of DTMF tone for either paging or signaling. Each position has a microphone, two headset jacks and a footpedal. Circuit boards can he configured to operate either tone remote controlled base stations or direct current (d/c) bases. Spare console boards are present. COMMUNITY TECHNOLOGY COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH SYSTEM: This CAD system consists of the following hardware: (6) monitors w/keyboards, (3) printers. Main Frame (Unix based system) 16 port maximum capability, 3 meg. RAM with a 120 meg. hard drive. System has a tape back-up. System has a LEADS interface and also includes an alarm interface. OFFICE - CLERICAL

The Illinois Municipal Treasurers Association (IMTA) is seeking a qualified individual to provide executive secretarial service for the association. Duties will include, but are not limited to, membership mailings, collection of annual dues, coordination of IMTA seminars/conferences and coordination of general telephone and mailing services for the IMTA. The position will he performed on a contract basis. The successful contractor will be expected to provide office space and related equipment necessary for secretarial functions. The IMTA will reimburse the contractor for costs incurred for use of said equipment in addition to the contracted salary.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATOR

The Village of Clarendon Hills, population 6,994, is seeking applicants for the position of Community Development Administrator. Bachelor's Degree in Urban or Regional Planning or related field required. Three years progressively responsible experience required. Supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge and experience with planning, zoning administration, building code enforcement and contract administration required. The Administrator will be staff liaison to the Zoning Board of Appeals/Plan Commission. Successful applicants must possess strong management, leadership, interpersonal and administrative skills. CODE ENFORCEMENT DIRECTOR/ CIVIL ENGINEER

The Village of Brookfield (population 18,876), a mature suburb located approximately 13 miles west of Chicago is seeking applicants from qualified experienced engineers who also have experience in building and zoning administration and enforcement. This position, under the direction of the Village Manager, is responsible for administering the zoning ordinance; subdivision regulations; building, improvement, occupancy, health, fire and related codes of the Village; issuance of building and occupancy permits; field inspections; and, contractor licensing. The position will also involve complaint investigation; plan and specification development; plan and proposal review; and, inspection and control of small-scale public projects, as well as private construction for code and ordinance conformity. Position will also involve coordination of and technical support to the Village's Zoning Board of Appeals. Knowledge of BOCA, SBOC, Chicago Electrical Code, State Plumbing Code, and ADA is essential. The successful candidate will have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, three (3) years experience as a registered P.E. in the State of Illinois and at least five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in a municipal or local governmental setting. The candidate must also have excellent written and oral presentation skills, as well as very strong interpersonal skills. This is a new position and will offer the successful candidate a wide and varied degree of both challenge and opportunity. The salary range for the position is $41,155 to $46,212, DOQ. PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR

The Village of Glen Ellyn, Illinois (pop. 25,000), an established suburban community is seeking a Public Works Director. Glen Ellyn is located 25 miles west of Chicago in Central DuPage County. The Public Works Director is a key member of the Village management team and reports directly to the Village Administrator. CHIEF OF POLICE

CIVIL ENGINEER I
