The Executive Director is the Chief Executive Officer who oversees the activities and staff of this professional organization that represents over 1,000 municipalities and their elected officers. Requires five (5) years relevant work experience; ability to manage association and affiliated programs. Knowledge of or orientation to federal, state, and local government legislative process important. Strong general management, leadership, and interpersonal relations skills, along with governmental administrative experience, required. Application letter with resume must be received by 7/1/94. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Denise M. Likens. CMC/AAE, City Clerk/Collector of Countryside, Illinois, has been accepted as a member in the IIMC Academy for Advanced Education of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. The Academy is the professional body of municipal clerks who have continued their high level of educational achievement beyond the attainment of the prestigious Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) Award.
