CIVIL ENGINEER

CIVIL ENGINEER
The City of Elgin, located 37 miles west of Chicago, is seeking applicants to fill a staff engineer position within the Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works. The position responsibilities will include review and administration of development plans, flood plain regulation, project design and contract administration. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, management and organizational skills, self starter and self initiative qualities, ability to develop and evoke improved methods to increase productivity, accuracy and compliance with approved plans and specifications. Candidates must have a degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university and a minimum of three years of municipal experience. VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR
Bedford Park (566 pop.) is seeking a Village Administrator. The salary is negotiable depending upon qualifications and experience. Candidates should have a Baccalaureate degree in Urban Planning or Public Administration, however, a graduate degree is strongly desired. FINANCE DIRECTOR

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
The Village of Lemont (9,586) is seeking an aggressive and dynamic professional to administer economic development activities within the community. Lemont is a rapidly growing community in southwest Cook County. Major business development opportunities are anticipated adjacent to the 1-355 extension and within the historic downtown area.
