DUES REMINDER

Just a reminder that beginning this year, the Society switched over to a calendar-year membership (Jan-Dec). Accordingly, all current memberships expire on December 31, 2005, unless you extended your membership through 2006 with a $35 additional check. At the end of October you will receive a renewal notice for the calendar year of 2006. All dues must be paid by December 31st in order to receive the publications for the upcoming year. In order to save on paper and postage only three notices will be sent out by bulk rate mailings: the first being a notice in the Sep/Oct. issue of the Heritage magazine, the second in the mail the end of October, and the final notice will be mailed out at the end of November. Please check the first line on your mailing label for your membership category. As always we thank you for your continuing support!

Beginning with the Spring/ Summer issue of the Journal of the Illinois State Historical Society, the Journal will be mailed out under our Standard Bulk Postage Permit. Please be sure that we have your current address on file, as returned copies will no longer be forwarded. Replacement copies are $5 each.

Illinois Heritage is published by The Illinois State Hislorical Society and printed by William Street Press, Decatur. The Society is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and promoting the heritage and culture of Illinois. Articles and reviews appearing in Illinois Heritage are abstracted and indexed in Historical Abstracts and in America: History and Life.

Illinois Heritage (ISSN 1094-0596) is published six times a year by The Illinois State Historical Society, 210 1/2 South Sixth Street, Suite 200, Springfield, IL 62701-1503. It is distributed without charge to members of The Illinois State Historical Society.
