About the cover:
Rowdy, the Dalmatian, was a stowing pup when plucked from the streets of Auburn and taken to the Sangamon County animal shelter just before Thanksgiving. Fortunately, Rowdy now has a happy home with Leon Cody VanPelt, the son of Nancy and Christopher VanPelt of Springfield. Unfortunately, most of the abandoned and stray animals that find their way to a shelter will be put to death.
